Khama Billiat Spotted at SuperSport Training Grounds

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Khama Billiat may have found himself a new club after leaving Naturena at the end of last season.

From 2018 to 2023, Billiat plied his trade at Amakhosi, scoring 24 goals in 84 appearances across all competitions. He also helped them reach the finals of the 2020-21 CAF Champions League.

However, his playing career has been hampered by multiple injuries, including a groin injury that kept him out of action in the first half of 2023.

Last June, at the end of the 2022/23 season, the 33-year-old’s contract expired. Despite Chiefs tabling a new offer, he never responded to it, nor did he return to Naturena for training.

Now, according to the latest reports, Billiat has been spotted training with SuperSport United.

Per one outlet, Billiat “started training with SuperSport this morning [Thursday, 18 January] with the hope of earning himself a contract.”

SuperSport is scheduled to face off against Sekhukhune United on 13 February – we’ll just have to wait and see if Billiat makes the cut by then.
